The Famous E.D. MKII (Penny Slot Model) 2cc diesel engine

This Wavemaster motor boat is proving to be a really interesting project.  I've started the restoration of the hull and subsequently removed the engine.  I was very inquisitive to find out more about this vintage engine and with some help from the members of the Model Boat Mayhem forum discovered that is was made in London by Electronic Developments (Surrey) Ltd.  It was first manufactured and sold in February1947
