The final event of the IOM, South West District Championships took place yesterday at Woodsprings, Portishead. 22 Competitors took to the lake in light winds to compete in two fleets. The racing was tight and a little bit of luck came to play at times as the wind shifted in strength around the course. In the end the cream rose to the top with and ex National Champion (NC) National Twelve skipper & ex IOM NC and 4xJ24 European skipper taking 1st and 2nd places respectively.
